Another card made with the pink petticoat images. Nice and bright this time using papers from DCWV. Best wishes was made with a cuttlebug embossing folder.
Over on the crop 'til you drop forum, where I'm a DT member :-)http://www.ilovehotoffthepress.co.uk/ this weeks challenge by Looby was a sketch. Here are my two interpretations of it.
As I made all these cards before I made this blog I didn't write down papers etc that I used on them but I will next time. I coloured the images in with coloursoft pencils and odourless spirit using blending stumps. Lol hubby was so sick of me saying "I wish I had prismacolor pencils, like the US sites" that he won me some on ebay and I am waiting for them to arrive. The coloursoft pencils are good but I am limited with the colours as I only have a set of 12 whereas the prismacolors I am getting have a whopping 120, shouldn't be stuck for a colour now!
And here is one of my recent pages. The first one I have done for about about 9 months now. I decieded to subscribe to a monthly kit to see if it would inspire me again. The good thing about scrapbooking kits is that you always have plenty left over to make some cards! Mmm I find it hard to show my pages. I have to use a camera as my scanner isn't big enough. I never seem to get a good photo though. Think I'll have to work on that.
Because I have just started this blog here are some older cards I have made. These are from last Christmas and they are made using the HOTP Xmas papers
I've decided to call this blog "The Other Side Of Me" because my other blog Shary's Stamping Sanctum http://sharyssanctum.blogspot.com/ is more an arty farty blog with my ATCs and Altered Art projects. This blog will be mainly for my cardmaking and scrapbooking, although I may sometimes add a bit of family life to it. :-). I hope you enjoy looking at my creations.
