Sketch Saturday

Here is the sketch for the Sketch Saturday challenge blog and this week Gill designed it.


And here is my card using the sketch. I can't get a proper photo of it, the colours seem too bright and not true.

I scanned this one to see if it looked any better. Just to give you an idea of the true colours.

First of all I took a blue 6x6 blank card and covered it with a piece of the paper. I then stitched around it in a zig zag stitch with blue thread. The second paper was then layered on and I also stitched around it. I then added some matching photo corners. The image which is from Alota and is called "bugs by the fire" has been coloured in with promarkers and I've highlighted some areas with a sakura glaze pen and a sakura clear star pen. It's quite a big stamp and was really fun to colour in. I then layered that onto some cardstock and stitched around it. I then added all the embellies, blooms, joy gel sticker, ribbon and gems.
