Sketch Saturday

Sketch # 20 this week for Sketch Saturday and here it is...

And here is my take on the sketch

I've made a masculine card with this sketch as I haven't made one for ages. I used a piece of brown bazill card for the background and embossed it with a cuttlebug embossing folder. I then stitched around it with a beige thread using a zig zag stitch. I then cut out 3 photo corners and again embossed them with the same folder. To add some colour to them I sponged them with 3 shades of chalk ink. The next thing to do was the strip of patterned paper, I layered that onto some beige card and stitched around the edges again. The patterned paper has a bone pattern on it but I don't think you can see it as I sponged this also with inks. The three squares are stampboard which I sponge inked and then added the stamped image. To highlight some areas of the images I scratched the stampboard. The main image which is an American Art stamp set called Dog set, has been stamped , I had to use SU's stamp-a-ma-jig to get the words correctly positioned. I coloured in the image with promarkers and then sponge inked around it. And finally I added the bone eyelet.
