Ismaki challenge

Here's a card I made a few days ago for the Ismaki Challenge.
Here's Manue's sketch

And here is my take on the sketch

I've used all Cosmo Cricket products for the papers, sentiments and embellies. The image is a House Mouse stamp called Lip Smackin Relaxin. I've used promarkers and also gone over the marshmallows with glossy accents. I then sponge inked the edges.

You can find the Ismaki challenge here.

Ismaki Challenge

The challenge on Ismaki Challenge blog this week is to follow a sketch. It's been designed by Isa.

And here is my take on the sketch. I've made the swivel card and also used the second option which is Christmas.

The papers are from a pad by DCWV. The ribbon border is actually a ribbon sticker from Dovecraft. I made the circle shape with a fiskars shape cutter , I haven't used it for ages but it came in handy this time. Annie sent me this image it has been designed by Elisabeth Bell and is called Jingle Bells. It's available from Funky Kits. The image has been coloured in with promarkers. To make the centre swivel I have used some purple glitter thread.

Stamp:- Sugar Nellie - Jingle Bells
Paper:- DCWV Christmas stack
Ribbon:- Dovecraft Ribbon stickers with glitter

Ismaki Challenge # 26

A sketch to follow this week for the Ismaki challenge.

Here's my take on the sketch. I've used my monthly cardmaking kit to make this card. The two panels of cardstock have been embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder. The bookplate was made with co ordinating cardstock and my cricut. The sentiment is a stamp by Stampin Up.
I really like the new stamps I've just received from Alota Stamps. The bugs are so cute. I have another order coming soon too! I've made another card with a different bug stamp but I can't show it until tomorrow as it's DT work. I coloured in the stamp with prismas and zest it. And added a little diamond stickle to the raindrops.
Stamps:- Alota Stamps , Stampin Up
Papers:- Tinkering Ink
Cricut:- Cartridge - Fabulous Finds
Die cuts:- Ellison thin cuts-photo corners
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder:- Stylized flowers

Ismaki Challenge

It's # 16 of the Ismaki challenge this week and it's a sketch by Beatrix

I have to admit I had some trouble with this one fitting things on , so you'll have to forgive me as it's not 100% true to the sketch. But I did manage the option of using 4 patterned papers.

Here's my card. The Tilda is from the new shabby chic range. I'm loving these at the moment. Usual way of colouring, prismas and zest it. I used the cricut for the scallop and embossed it with a cuttlebug folder. All the papers are from the range Foof a la. The felt letters are from Making Memories and are called "note worthy".
You can find all the details for the challenge here

Ismaki Challenge # 15

This week's sketch challenge on the Ismaki blog is by Manue.

Here is the sketch. Boy did I have trouble with it!!
I ended up cutting up a SU stamp to get the long sentence, I did try masking but after half an hour of trying , cutting it up worked best! Don't worry I can still use it in the normal way.

A good excuse to use two of my new stamps for this one. Coloured in with prismas and zest it again. All the papers, card and embellies are from a Stampin Up simply scrappin set. The long sentence and the word friends are also from Stampin Up sets. Friends was masked off from a loads of love accessories set.

Stamps:- Magnolia
Card, paper & embellies:- SU simply scrappin set , secret garden
Sentiments:- SU curvy verses & loads of love accessories

Ismaki Challenge # 14

Here is the sketch for the Ismaki Challenge # 14. And the option was to use ribbons.

Here is my interpretation of the sketch. I also used the option of using ribbon. It took me a while to do because I had to get the shape measurements right in order for it to all fit onto the card. The images are from Hanna stamps which Heather kindly sent me. :0) thanks again Heather! I coloured them in the usual way with prismas and zest it. I don't know why but the lighter colours seem to have gone a bit grubby. So don't look too closely!! ;0). The papers which are made by Scenic Routeare all from my Go Go Greetings monthly kit . The little chipboard buttons are from K & Co, wild saffron. I adhered all the images with 3D foam pads to make them all stand out.
If you would like to have a go at this sketch you can find all the details here

Papers: Scenic Route
Stamps: Hanna stamps
Buttons: K & Co
Die cut shapes: Cricut cartridge - George and Basic Shape

Ismaki Challenge

Challenge # 13 for the Ismaki Challenge blog is to follow this sketch. It was drawn by Petra, who is on the Magnolia DT and does some outstanding work.

There is also two additional options for this sketch.
3 flowers
at least 5 words

I managed to follow the sketch and do the two options. The photo is pretty bad with some shadows on but I had to take it this morning and it was dull outside. I've used my Sarah's monthly cardmaking kit again for this card so I don't know who the papers are by. For the swirls I used a Rhonna Farrer clear stamp set. The sentiment is from a SU set and says "I'm here for you always... please know that I care." The cute Sarah Kay image is one that Fran sent me (thanks Fran). I coloured her in with prismas and zest it. To accentuate the stamped swirls I added some little gold and crystal peel off dots. I don't think you can see them very well though.

Paper, card and blooms:- Sarah's monthly card kit
Sentiment:- Stampin Up curvy verses
Swirls:- Rhonna Farrer Autumn Leaves

There are always some fantastic cards over on the Ismaki blog , take some time out and have a look, the blog is here.

Ismaki Challenge # 8

Here is the sketch for this week's Ismaki Challenge #8 and the second option was to add a ribbon.

Here is my take on the challenge. I did the sketch and the 2nd option with the ribbon this time.
I used a pad of CreaMotion papers that I've had for ages and just looked at because I didn't want to cut them up! As it turns out I had to do quite a big of cutting them up. I paper pieced Tilda and also cut out some of the little flowers to make some dimension to the card. The green panel is distress around the edges with some sandpaper amd all the layers have been edged with distress ink. The sentiment is a Stampin Up stamp which I layered onto brown Bazill and then cut around the flower.
Beatrix made this sketch this time, thanks Beatrix! There are some really lovely sketches to follow each week. If you would like to take part, this week's sketch is here.
Stamps:- Magnolia:- windy Tilda & SU sentiment - Best Blossoms
Papers:- Crea Motion

Ismaki Challenge #7

Here is the Ismaki Challenge #7 sketch for this week.

And here is the card I made for the challenge. I used one of the new Lola stamps which are part of the Sugar Nellie range and some paper that I had left over from a kit. I love these papers and was a bit loathe to use the last lot up. They are from the Kelly Panacci range.

If you would like to take part in these challenges you can find the blog here.
