Mo's Challenge #2

This week's Mo's Digital Challenge is all about Fall colours, you don't have to use a Fall image just as long as you use Fall colours. Oh and you can only use 2 embellies.
I've had these images for a while now and decided now was the time to use one of them. I had to have them as you may know that hubby is in the army and my son is always saying to me "How many days is it until Daddy comes home?" He misses him so much. So the images are ideal for me to use.
Here is my card

This image comes from a set called "Time out to support the troops" I made a few adjustments to the image to suit my needs. I coloured him in with promarkers. All the papers are from Cosmo Cricket. My 2 embellies are the 2 buttons.

Sorry I still can't find a place in the house where the light is right for taking pics. I'll keep trying! The colours on this card look very dark compared to real life.

Inky Impressions Sneek Peeks

Today I also want to show you two sneek peeks of brand new Inky Impressions stamps coming out. Just right for those cute Christmas cards. We will be showing off the new stamps real soon in a blog hop but for now you'll have to make do with these.

I will update you very soon.

Cute Card Thursday

This week's Cute Card Thursday theme is

Spook Fest

Here's my not so scary card!

I have used another of Mo's images this one is called "Punkin" available from Mo's shop, Digital Pencil Too. He's been coloured with promarkers and I've used a nestabilite label to frame him. The papers and sentiment are all a digi kit called Merry Boo by Hollie Wood. Everything else is from my stash.

The prize this week is a sheet of angel stamps kindly donated by Tracy of Dies to Die for. One lucky winner will be chosen next week.

As always the DT have done a fab job of the challenge. So many different designs and gorgeous cards. You can see them all here.

We also have a Guest designer too and that is Lisa, she has made a great monster card.

Marlene's SOL

I just caught this in time on Marlene's blog , she had a SOL last night at 8pm. You can see all the fun here on her blog, A Lil Bit Of Me.
The idea was that Marlene had shown a post with the measurements of the papers and card you would need and then at 8pm she would give out instructions on how to make your card at five minute intervals. I managed to do it right and got my card made but I couldn't take a photo until now as it was dark when I'd finished. So here is my card.

Please click on the pic to get a better view. :0)

I used My mind's eye papers and the punched paper has been done with a Martha Stewart punch. All the embellies are from my stash. I used silver flower spacers with a flat backed pearl for the centres.

Don't forget to go over to Marlene's blog to see all the different variations of cards. You can see them on this post here.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge

(Ooops forgot to say the theme is Paper Piecing) and that I paper pieced his clothes and boots.

Morning and today is the Tilda & Friends ATC challenge day, but with some sad news. This will be one of the last ATCs I make for the challenge as we have all decided that the challenge will be closing at the end of October. There are so many challenge sites now and T&F participation has dropped considerably. So here is my ATC for this week

I have used a Sugar Nellie manga image for this ATC from Funky Kits. He is called Mr Stocking. Isn't he cute? I've coloured him with promarkers and cut him out. The papers and ribbon are from scraps left over from a Sara's cardmaking kit. The stocking is from a German shop.

The other DT have made some lovely ATCs all using different images, why not pop over for a look? You can find them here.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar

This week's theme on the A Spoon Full Of Sugar challenge blog is a gorgeous sketch by Caryn.
Here is a pic of the sketch

And here is my card

As Mo sponsored us this week we get to play with an image from her shop so I have used one of many gorgeous images from Mo's Digital Pencil, it's called Kai in the snow. Just sooo cute! I have coloured him with my promarkers and added a little clear star pen for the snow. I used a label nestabilitie for the frame in two sizes. The papers are Eskimo kisses from Basic Grey. The stamp I have had for ages but have only just found it again, not too sure who makes it though. Everything else is from my stash.

So the prize this week is a $20 gift certificate to spend in Mo's shop, blimey how would I choose out of all those gorgeous images if I could win?? Pop on over to the ASOS blog for all the details and enjoy the gorgeous DT cards.

Sketch Saturday

Here is the Sketch for this week's Sketch Saturday

And here is my card following the sketch. I have turned it 90 degrees.

If you click on the pic you can see the card much clearer.
I bought my daughter some of the Daisy and Dandelion style stamps and couldn't resisit "borrowing" one. This image is from the Bubbles and Squeak sheet. I have coloured him with promarkers and I've stamped out the flower from the papers I used. The papers are from Cosmo Cricket, and are from the Early Bird range. The sentiment is from a SU up set which I have stamped onto a scallop circle which I made with my Cricut. The silver flower spacers and pearls are from my stash.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

There is a great sketch for the Papertake Weekly Challenge this week so I decided to have a go. Here is my card.

I've used one of my gorgeous Inky Impression images called "Fairy Lili". She has been coloured with promarkers and I have used diamond stickles for her wings. The papers are from a SU simply scrappin kit from last year and it's called "I wish". I made the blooms from using 3 different sized flower punches and then adding a silver spacer to the middle.

Still can't get a good photo this one was taken in the bathroom in front of the mirror I thought it would lighten it up a bit, but seems it didn't work!

If you click on the photo you get a clearer view.

Cute Card Thursday

The theme for this week's Cute Card Thursday challenge is

So Charming - Use a charm on your project

Here is my card

I have used one of my new Sugar Nellie Manga stamps called "Mistletoe" and it has been coloured with promarkers. The papers are from Cosmo Cricket and are called Jolly by Golly. Everything else is from my stash.

The DT have made some gorgeous cards and all using different images. We have a fab prize this week too from Simon Says Stamp of a $25 credit voucher. Why not go over and take a peek, it's well worth it!! You can find the CCT challenge blog here.

Mo's Challenge #1

I was excited to see that Mo from Mo's Digital Pencil Too has started a challenge blog with a stunning DT.
The first challenge is to make a card with one of Mo's images with the colour purple as the theme. Well here is my take on the challenge

I have used an image called "Duck Day". Isn't she cute? I have coloured it in with promarkers and used a little clear star pen for the drops and puddle. The papers are all from a HOTP pad which I've had ages. The sentiment is from an older SU set.

My photos look a little washed out at the moment as I haven't yet found the right spot in the new house to take the photos. I'm using Photoshop to alter them but it isn't working very well. I'll keep trying though.

It's well worth going to see the gorgeous DT cards here on the challenge blog.

Forgot to say I used one of Tiet's sketches for this one, I love her sketches!!!!

Inky Impressions Challenge

This week's challenge on the Inky Impressions challenge blog is

Fall or Halloween colours

Here is my card

I have used a digi kit for this card as I didn't have any suitable DP.I used an Inky Impressions image called Lili's chicks but I cut off the chicks to make it look like Lili was pointing to the sentiment. "Me??? a little monster????"
We'd love you to play along this week with the challenge and be able to see your great creations. All the details can be found on the blog here.

Here are the other DT girls who made a project for this challenge.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar

Yay back into my DT challenges and this week the theme for ASOS is

Halloween

Well I had to use my new Halloween stamps from Alota didn't I? I've used four stamps altogether, the background stamp called "Mobile Street Houses" and the three characters called "Dracula boy", "Witch girl" and "Ghost". They have all been coloured with promarkers and the papers are from Stampin Up ,I think they are called spiced pumpkin.

The other DT girls have made some beautiful projects for this challenge. You can see them all and enter into the challenge here at the A Spoon Full Of Sugar blog.

Nikki is offering up a Stampavie stamp for the prize this week from her shop, so well worth having a go at the challenge.

Friday Sketchers again

I was a bit late with last week's FS so I got in early this time. This week's sketch looks like this

And here is my card

I've used an image by Mo's Digital Pencil Too which I've had a while but forgot about (shame on me). Just right for a teenage girls card I think. It has been coloured with promarkers and a little gold sakura pen. The papers are all from Papertrunk and are called Maybe baby. Buttons, ribbons and pearls are all from my stash.

Friday Sketchers

This felt great to be able to do a card just for fun for a challenge and I haven't made one for Friday Sketchers for ages.
This week's challenge was a sketch. It was a great sketch quite simple but easy to dress up. There is also an option of distressing.

And here is my card

I have used a new stamp from the Funky Kits Sugar Nellie manga range called Mr Stocking. He's been coloured in with promarkers. I have used Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses and distressed the edges with sandpaper and then inked them with a red ink. The sentiment is from Stampin Up. Everything else is from my stash, but I must mention the fab flat backed pearls from Nikki's shop, Bunny Zoe's Crafts. I went for the mixed bag as I couldn't decide on just a couple of colours!! You can see them here. Also the delivery is really, really quick.
