I have some Sugar Nellie stamps for sale. Trying to save up for some other stamps I have my eye on!!! Most of these I have only used once, they are in excellent condition. Most of them have their little adoption certificates too.

I would like £4 for each of them which includes postage (if you are in the UK, if not I will have to work something out). Paypal only, thank you.

These first 7 have no adoption certificates as they were bought as a sheet.

These are the adoption certificates that come with the next lot of stamps.

I've put numbers on each of them but they are not very clear as I've only just took the photos and it's 8pm here, so dark! But if you tell me line and position I'll know. :0)

In Style Stamps - Thankful Thursday

Every Thursday on In Style Stamps we have a Thankful Thursday sketch. This week was the turn of Maria to create the sketch.

Here is the sketch

And here is my card
For the main image I have used Ginger and done a combination of colouring and paper piecing on her. I then sponged chalk inks around her. All the papers used are from a PaperMania pad called Eastern Blooms. I used a rub on to make the sentiment on the chipboard embellishment and then I thread a ribbon through. The chipboard flowers looked a little plain so I added a clear gem to each of them and then 3 gems along the bottom left of the layered image.

It would be great to see some of you European girls joining in with this sketch as In Style are a brand new company in the US and not well know yet in the UK. You don't have to use an In Style image you can use any stamp as long as you keep to the sketch. There is also a great prize up for grabs.

Here are all the details

Your entry with a link to your creation must be posted on the comments section at the InStyle Stamps Blog by Wednesday, January 21, 11:59 PM P.S.T. The design team will look at all the entries and come up with their top 3, and Virginia will make the final decision. The winner will be announced the following day. You will have 48 hours to claim your prize. If the lucky winner hasn’t come forward after 48 hours, another winner will be selected.

Why not have a go?

Cute Card Thursday

This week's theme is
Have a Giggle

This week we would love to see some humour in your cards! We are all in need of some cheering up in January, so banish those blues and lets all have a laugh together!

Here's my card

I've used a Murray & Ethel image for this card and coloured the skin and hair in with promarkers and then paper pieced their clothes. I stamped them onto a nestabilitie rectangle. I then layered it onto some of the paper. All the papers are from a K & Co pad. The decorated strip is punched out with a Martha Stewart border punch. I made the sentiment on the computer and layered it onto the same paper. I just added the gold brads for a bit of embellishment.

The DT have made some great cards this week to cheer you up. The prize this week is a Sugar Nellie stamp. All the details can be found on the Cute Card Thursday blog here

Alota Valentine's

Helene of Alota stamps sent me some new Valentine stamps to play with. I've used one of the images and one of the sentiments on this playing cards gift box.

I cut out and scored the playing cards gift box ( idea from Scor-pal) using purple CS. It makes a change to use something other than red for Valentines. I then covered the sides with some black and white DP. Sorry it was in my stash from ages ago, so I don't know the name. I added the black peel off heart border. The Roses image has been coloured in with promarkers and then I added some sakura purple metallic pen to them. I wound a piece of checked ribbon around the base too. I made a little tag and used the sentiment stamp from Alota to stamp on the purple square. I then added strips of black peel off and again went round these with the metallic pen. I just added some fibres to thread through the hole with an eyelet.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge

This week on the Tilda & Friends ATC challenge blog the theme is
Something Sticky
Here is my ATC and I've used epoxy stickers for the theme.

The papers are from Gin - X. They have been layered and then inked with an orange chalk ink. The image has been layered onto a cricut cut oval. The image is from Alota stamps and is called "Daddy and Baby bug". They have been coloured in with promarkers and then cut out leaving a small white edge. The sentiment and 3 dots are epoxy stickers and are made by Royal and Langnickel.

Anesha is again our GD for this week and she has made a great ATC. The DT have come up with some great ATCs for inspiration too.

Remember you can now use anything on your ATCs, any stamps and it could be decoupage, downloaded images, anything really. You can find all the details on the blog here

House Mouse Monday Challenge

Yay it's back ! So this week the theme is make an ATC.

I've covered my ATC is two lots of Sandylion papers and added a Martha Stewart punched border. I then inked all over the ATC with a peach chalk ink. The image is called "Tails of true love" and has been coloured with promarkers and then layered onto the same paper. All the other little bits are from my stash. The DT have made some beautiful ATCs , you can see them here on the House Mouse and Friends Challenge blog.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar

This week's theme on the A Spoon Full Of Sugar challenge blog is
Paper Piecing
Here is my paper pieced card

Sorry for the bad photo again, it's still dull here. Ok, so I've used lots of Basic Grey Mellow papers for this one and layered the patterned ones onto the plainer ones. The decorative strip down the side has been punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The image is from the Home Grown range from Sugar Nellie. His name is Rory. You can find him at Funky Kits. I've paper pieced the image with some more of the mellow range. I then layered him onto a plainer mellow paper with 3D pads. I just added the ribbon and brads and the sentiment. The sentiment is a clear stamp , not too sure who makes it maybe Stamp Away.

This week we have a Guest Designer , which is Chris. She has made a beautiful baby card. Why not go over to the blog and see the other DT's cards. Gorgeous as always.

There is also a prize this week for one lucky random winner of a High Hopes , "Love Birds" stamp. All the details are here

In Style Stamps - Method Monday

Another Monday and In Style Stamps have another Method Monday challenge for you. This time it is the turn of Design Team member Jennie. She has asked us to make this box. The instructions can be found here. It's a really simple box but has lots of useful ways. Mine has been made to hold some bathtime gifts.

I've used the In Style stamp Sheree for this. I coloured in Sheree with promarkers but paper pieced her bath to match the background papers. I coloured the bubbles but then went over them with some diamond stickles. The box has been made out of a sheet of K & Co paper. The decorative border has been made out of a strip of co ordinating paper and then been punched with a Martha Stewart punch and then I added the ribbon and 3 gems.

If you would like to have a go at the challenge you can find all the details here

For more inspiration as well as Jennie, Maria another DT member has also made a box here.

Printable Stamps

I have just found out about a new company called Worldwide Printable stamps. They are a brand new printable stamp company, so you can download your images from the net. I ordered a set and they were with me in no time at all. The image I have used on this card is from a Bee my valentine set. But it's quite a versatile set and doesn't have to be used for just Valentine's cards.
Here's my card

I have cut out the image using a circle nestabilitie and layered it onto two scallops. I've coloured the image with promarkers. This image is only one out of the four images in the set. All the papers are from 3 Bugs in a rug - Rhapsody. On the ribbon I have tied a little silver butterfly charm that came off a pair of my daughter's old trousers!!! The bloom has a little silver spacer in the middle too. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. I stamped it straight onto the paper and then clear embossed it.

Friday Sketchers

Back to challenges now the holidays are over. And this one is for Friday Sketchers.

Kristine designed the sketch for this week and here it is

And here is my take on the sketch.
The images and sentiment are brand new stamps from Alota Stamps. The boy and his dog are from a set called Valentine's Cuties. They have been coloured in with promarkers. I cut the dog stamp out and used 3D pads to adhere him to the main image. All the papers, brads and tag are from a HOTP monthly kit. The eyelets and ribbon are from my stash.

Sale, sale ,sale!!!!!

Wow if you love those Alota bugs as much as I do you have got to go over to here

In Style Stamps - Method Monday

Every Monday on In Style Stamps there will be a tip, trick, tutorial or technique with a challenge from one of the DT members. This week it was the turn of the boss , Virginia. Virginia has shown a tutorial for a lidded box. All the details are here on the In Style blog. Great tutorial for an easy to make box. Must be if I can do it!!

Here is mine

This is the top of the box , the lid. For the actual box I used Bazill cardstock, it's a bit more robust than other cardstock and keeps it's shape, just right for a box. I have used Collage Press -Sugar Plum series paper and the main image is Suzie Q. I thought I'd use her so I can hide all my craft shopping receipts in the box!! She's been coloured with promarkers. To embellish the lid I used some ribbon and gems.

Here is the side view of the box. I used some of the same paper and a Martha Stewart punch to make the strip along the sides and then covered the top part with some of the same ribbon used on the lid.

Why not have a change from cards and have a go at this quick and simple box. I'd love to see lots of different boxes.

You can see the tutorial and all the details here

In Style Stamps - Thankful Thursday

Here' s a new one for you, every Thursday on In Style Stamps there will be a sketch challenge. Every Thursday one of the Design Team will create a sketch for you to follow. This week it was
Melissa's turn to create the sketch.

Now I do apologise I made a boo boo because one of the rules is that you must have the words "Thank you" on your card. Teach me for not reading things properly!! I do apologise.

You don't have to use an In Style stamp, but if you do have any that would be great! So all you have to do is make a card using the sketch, include the words "Thank you" and then leave a comment here on the In Style Stamps blog showing us a link to your card. One lucky winner will receive a prize of Making Memories Ribbon Charms.

Your creation must be posted by Sunday January 11th, 11.59 PM P.S.T.

Here is the sketch
And here is my card

I used a cream, blank, square card and covered it with the plainer paper from a Basic Grey Scarlett's Letter pad. I then cut out the semi circle in the red cs from the same pad and layered it with the more ornate paper. I did the same for the rectangle which the main image would sit on. I stamped Roxy from In Style stamps onto white card and coloured in her skin, hair and jewellery. I then paper pieced her clothes and shoes with the same Scarlett's Letter papers. I cut her out leaving a little white border and used 3D pads to adhere her to the rectangle. I punched a hole for the ribbon to thread throught and tied a knot into it. The sentiment is from a Stampin Up set called Riveting. I layered this onto circles of the dp.

It would be great if some UK crafters could join in with this one too as In Style Stamps are quite a new US company and are not known very well in the UK. But the stamps are well worth buying, really modern and great to colour. And I'll tell you a secret I've seen some of the new stamps and kits coming and you'll definately be wanting them!!!

Cute Card Thursday

This week's challenge for the Cute Card Thursday blog is

Use Something New

This week we would like to see you use something you got for Christmas on
your cards (if you didn't get anything suitable for Christmas then you can use
something that you bought yourself over the holidays)!

Well I had some new stamps sent to me by Helene from Alota Stamps just before Christmas and have only had the time to use them now. So here is my card

The papers are all from Sassafras and of course the image and sentiment are from Alota stamps. First of all I stamped the "Daddy and baby bug" image onto a nestabilitie circle and then coloured it in with promarkers. I then layered it onto another circle of DP. The birthday sentiment was stamped onto DP and then layered onto cardstock. I wanted to keep it simple for a man's card so I just added the buttons. I think this image would also be great for a Father's Day card too.

One lucky random winner will receive a Faith stamp from Debbie Moore of the Craft Pad.There are some fab cards from the DT again this week. Why not go over to the blog and join in with the challenge and get to use all your new stuff? All the details are here

http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/

Circles

Over on Paper Craft Planet , Susan has chosen a theme of circles for a challenge on the Alota group.

Here is my circle card

I've used October Afternoon papers and the sentiment is also from the same company. It is a rub on. The fabric covered buttons are from Basic Grey. The images are both from Alota stamps. The picture in the camera is called Jerry at work, I cut out part of the stamp as it is a big one and then used 3D pads to fix it to the lens of the Alota camera. He was coloured in with promarkers. The camera has been paper pieced using Basic Grey cardstock.

The challenge finishes on the 14th January and one lucky winner will win a whole sheet of Alota robot stamps here.
