Well I haven't done this challenge for a while so I thought I'd better give it a go this week. The challenge was for 1 circle, 2 ribbons and 3 stamps/images.
Here's my effort
I've used an image by Digital Stamp Oasis called "Rebecca rabbit the painter". You can find her here along with her other friends.I coloured her with copics and promarkers. So that's 1 of the 3 stamps/images. I then stamped around her using a Stampin Up stamp from Watercolour garden. I used the promarkers to stamp it. No 2 of the stamp/images. The sentiment is from Stampin Up again warm words, no 3 for the stamp/images. I stamped it onto a circle (1 circle) cut from my cricut and layered that onto a scallop, again from my cricut. All the papers are from a Stampin Up designer paper set called Cutie Pie. And then for the last requirement I have added the two ribbons, one red and one yellow.
The Papertake Weekly challenge is here.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar
This week's theme for the A Spoon Full Of Sugar is actually a sketch by Lim. It's a gorgeous sketch. Here it is
And here is my card
I've made a hybrid card this week. That is the main image is a stamp and the papers are a digital scrapkit. The image is from Sugar Nellie and is one of the Gorjuss Girls and she is called "Just a girl". I've coloured her with promarkers. The papers are from a Suzanne Woolcott scrapkit called The Gorjuss Goth Scrapkit. The words also come in the kit.
This week we have my friend Debby from "A Scrapjourney" blog as a guest designer. I'm always drooling over her work and when I asked her to be GD I was over the moon when she said yes. Her card for this week's challenge is gorgeous!!!
We also have a fantastic prize this week for one lucky winner of two new release stamps from Whimsy stamps. They are rainy day Emma and Baseball Connor. So it's well worth having a go at Lim's sketch. You can find all the details for this week's challenge and browse over the DT's cards here.

In Style Stamps Blog Hop
There is lots going on today over on In Style Stamps.
Here's what Virginia (the boss) says about it...
Come and join us for the first InStyle Stamps Blog Hop this Friday from 11:30 am EST to 10pm EST. Chat it up on our blog hop thread on the InStyle forum that will open at 11:30 am EST. The blog hop itself will begin at noon with the DT revealing their fabulous projects that they have been slaving away all week on.
Come join the fun, and be on the look-out for contests to win some great prizes throughout the day! Plus, make sure to vote for your favorite DT member project, as well as play “Get to know our DT Trivia,” and be entered into our drawings for the grand prizes to be held at the end of the hop!
You can find the In Style Stamp blog here and for all you UKers the time will be 4.30pm that it starts. The In Style Stamp forum can be found here.
So all the In Style DT had to make a project for the blog hop and everyone that gets to visit the blogs then votes for their favourite. So here is my project or should I say projects!
I first made this candle holder decoration for Easter. I used a brand new digital image from In Style Stamps called Teacup with chick.I printed it out twice and then coloured them with promarkers.I then cut out the flowers, chick and ribbon from the second image and layered them onto the first image to give a 3D effect. I then used glossy accents on the 3D elements. Simple but brightens up a plain candle holder.
My second project is a gift pocket holder made out of ..... a kitchen roll. All you do is fold it in half and then cut it and there you have your two "pockets". I covered the pockets in Papermania retro flowers paper and then stamped along the top and bottom of the pockets with a Stampin Up wheel stamp in distress brown ink. I also sponged all the edges with the same ink. Next I added the ribbons and then adhered the two pockets together. The image is a stamp from In Style Stamps called Suzie Q. I thought she was just right for the holder if you were to put in shopping vouchers.I stamped her out and then cut her out leaving a small margin around her. I coloured her with promarkers. I then used 3D pads to adhere her to the top pocket. All you need to do is slip whatever you'd like to give as a gift into the pockets. I have put some euros into my pockets in the photo just to show you. Here is a side view.
If you would like to see all the other DT's projects and vote for your favourite, the DT's blog addresses are in my side bar under In Style Stamp DT. And this is where you can vote. Here.
So onto the next contest! "Get to know our DT trivia". All the DT had to answer some questions about themselves. Here are the questions and my answers....

Digital Stamp Oasis Candy
Ellie from the Digital Stamp Oasis is celebrating her new DT today over on her blog. So she has set a sketch challenge to win some candy. Ellie says:-
To win this blog candy you will have to
1. make a card using the sketch below...but there is a catch...you have to use something digital on your card. It can be a digital image (from any [digital] stamp company), a sentiment you make on your computer, digital Designer paper, or anything else digital you can think of.
2. Post your card on your blog and post about this blog candy challenge with a link to my blog.
3. Post a comment in the comment section with a link to your creation.
Here's the sketch
And I have made a card for the challenge.
I have used a Papermania pad for the papers called Retro Floral. The image and sentiment are from Digital Stamp Oasis and she is called "Susie Squirrel in the rain".I've coloured her with copics and promarkers. I also added some clear star pen and glossy accents to the flower and rain. The decorative border has been made with a Martha Stewart punch and the brads are from Stampin Up.
I now have a pic of the candy...
I know this challenge is a bit different but like me how many digital images do you have just sitting on your computer? Well nows the chance to get them out and maybe win some candy into the bargain! I'd love to see what you all come up with!

Cute Card Thursday
I have used a Digital Oasis stamp, isn't she cute? You can find the images here. This one is called Rebecca Rabbit. I have coloured the image with promarkers. All the papers and embellies come from a HOTP cardmaking kit. I thought they were ideal colours for the challenge. The sentiment has been printed out from the computer and layered onto the same papers.
The DT have made some great cards again this week, well worth popping over to have a look. We also have a guest designer too. For the next two weeks it's Joanne aka Bubbles. You can find all the details on how to join in with the challenge here. There is also a prize this week for one lucky winner of a Bling Bet rubber stamp set from My favourite things.

Inky Impressions Freebie
Ok we all like freebies but you gotta see this one, how cute is she? Nicole put her up on her blog for everyone to grab as a thank you for all who took part in the DT call out. Isn't she gorgeous I just had to make a card with her.
So first of all I coloured her with promarkers and copics. I then cut her out, it was quite fiddly in some places but worth it I think. I then used 3D pads to adhere her to a nesty square. I then layered that onto a bigger square. All the papers used are from Basic Grey Sultry range. The scallop edged layer was made with a Martha Stewart punch. The "thank you" sentiment was made with an Around the block tape writer.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge
Well the theme for the Tilda & Friends ATC challenge this week is
Spring
This week our theme is 'Spring Time' and you can create anything you like with this theme, as long as it's cute and is the standard size for an ATC. Take a look at the Design Team's work for some inspiration.
Hmmm I don't think Germany knows that yet. We have snow!!! And it's bitterly cold too. Not happy , just getting used to a bit of weak sunshine and then Winter comes along again!!!
Anyway I've made quite a bright ATC this week to make up for our weather, here it is.

I've used a House Mouse image called "Easter Surprise" and coloured it in with copics and promarkers. It has been stamped onto a nesty square and then layered onto a green card. The papers are just scraps from my bit box. The bottom layer has been punched out with a Martha Stewart punch. The blooms and ribbon are from my stash and I made the sentiment with a dymo tape writer.
We have a new GD for this month and that is Hazel. Her blog is here. The DT have made some great Spring ATCs , why not go over and take a look? You can find the Tilda & Friends ATC blog here.

House Mouse Monday Challenge
This week's challenge on the House Mouse Monday challenge was to make a shaped card, not rectangle or square. Well anyone who visits my blog regularly will know I only really do the rectangle or square cards, so this was a good challenge for me.
Here is my round card
I've used another of my HOTP cardmaking kits for this one as I coloured the image first and then thought the colours of the papers were ideal. The image was stamped onto a nesty circle and then layered onto a bigger one. The image is called "Grape Dreams" and I've coloured it with promarkers and copics. The sentiment is from a Stampin Up set called Riveting and has been stamped onto a circle and then layered onto a scalloped circle. All the scalloped circles have been cut with my Cricut using the Mini Monograms cartridge.
You can find the House Mouse Monday Challenge blog here.

Inky Impressions 1st Design Team Call
Inky Impressions are looking for their very first DT ever. Well I have to admit I had never heard of their stamps but I went to the blog to have a nosey, as you do! Well was I impressed the little girl stamps are adorable and right up my street IYKWIM. I just love LiLi, she is saying shshsh and is really cute. So anyway Nicole says that she is looking for members from "all over the world" so I thought I'd give it a go. The criteria was to make a post about the call and submit two of your cards using some sort of colouring medium. Well you know I always use promarkers , so these two cards have been coloured with them.
My first card is a card I did only a little while ago but I loved the way it turned out, so I decided to show this one.Details can be found here.
And my second card is this House Mouse card that I made for my MIL for Mother's Day.
Details are here.
So I have everything crossed as I'd love to work with the Inky Impressions images, they are so cute!

Swap?
I'm not too sure if I want to buy some stamps or if they are something I will use a lot of so.... I was wondering if anybody wanted to do an image swap? This will help me to decide. I am after some of the Messy Rabbit stamps, preferably the toadstool ones, the one of him sitting on a plant pot and the village buildings.I have House mouse stamps, Gorjuss girls, Alota or anything that you have seen on my blog. I'd be really grateful if someone could help me out.

Thankful Thursday sketch challenge
Each week one of the DT members for In Style stamps must create a sketch for people to follow. It must also have some kind of Thank you on it as a sentiment. It was my turn this week. I'm not that good at making sketches but I had a go and came up with this one.
So here is my card using the sketch.
I've used an In Style stamp called Pam for this card and coloured her with promarkers. All the papers and the flowers are from the Basic Grey range, Mellow. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts clear stamp set. The brads, gems and ribbon are from my stash.
You can find all the details of the sketch challenge on the In Style stamps blog here.

Can anyone help me please? German speaker.
I had an email from Magnolia saying that they will be at a show in Dortmund Germany this month. I went to the site which is Creativa here http://westfalenhallen.de/messen/creativa/index.php but unfortunately my German is not that good that I can understand it. What I would like to know is.....
Will there be stalls there selling cardmaking/scrapbooking products?
If so which day will that be?
Can you tell me what sort of sellers go, will there be stamps and is so which manufacturers?
Many thanks.
