Inky Impressions Challenge #26

We have challenge # 26 this week on the Inky Impressions Challenge blog and the theme is

Add Embossing (Dry or Heat) and Glitter or Flocking

So here is my card

I have used an Inky Impressions stamp called Fairy Lili, a versatile stamp as it can be used for a Xmas or non Xmas card. I've coloured her with promarkers and I have paper pieced her dress and shoes. Her wings have been done with star dust stickles. Here's a close up

The papers are My Mind's Eye and I have dry embossed the triangle corner and the decorative border with a spotty embossing folder and broke my Spellbinders plate in the process!!!!! The snowflakes started off as chipboard but I then used Stamping Up heat and stick powder and the glitter to cover them. Then I threaded some pearl beads through with thread and stuck the pearls onto the middles and randomly around the snowflakes. The decorative pin head is a pin with a pearl at the top and then I added the silver beads and a bow. Gems and pearl hearts are from my stash.

The new DT have made some really gorgeous projects, you need to see them!! You can find all of them and details of how to join in with the challenge on the Inky Impressions Challenge blog here.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge

Wow it is so cold here in Germany, many places have had snow but we haven't yet. I'm sure it's on it's way.

I didn't think I'd have time this week to do the challenge but I managed to put this card together very quickly.
So the challenge for the Cute Card Thursday blog is

An Aperture card

I haven't made one of these for years and I had to use my cricut to make the aperture.

I have used an Inky Impression stamp called Ice Skating Rachel. She has been stamped and cut out leaving a little border around her. I have coloured her with promarkers and a little bit of diamond stickles. The papers are all My Minds Eye Colourful Christmas collection. The die cuts and sentiment are also from the same range. Everything else is from my stash.

Here is a close up of Rachel.

We are being sponsored this week by Nicole of Inky Impressions, she has offered the winner a $15 gift voucher. Nicole has the most gorgeous stamps and is well known for her cute girls. I should know I'm on the DT ;0)

The DT girls are all so busy but have managed once again to make some beautiful cards. You can see these and all the details of the challenge on the Cute Card Thursday blog.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar

Morning everyone, sorry I have been such a bad blogger but I am so busy. My daughter has just come home from Uni and after not seeing her for 3 months we are spending time together along with the Xmas concerts, parties etc for the younger ones.

I am still managing to get my Challenge and DT cards done though for now.
So onto today's challenge and it is the A Spoon Full Of Sugar Challenge.
We had a lovely sketch to follow created by Nikki and was also lucky enough to be sent a brand new release stamp from Nikki's collection Wags 'n Whiskers.

So here is the sketch

And here is my card

The new release stamp is called Bear Hug and is from the Wags 'n Whiskers range. Isn't she a cutie? I have coloured her with promarkers and I used some polar white flowersoft for her wings. Here she is in a close up

The papers are Chatterbox Greenhouse, I have inked around them and stitched them too. The circular flower on the left is a chipboard flower and I covered it in some of the same papers. Everything else is from my stash.

Nikki has a great prize this week it is 2 stamps of your choice from the Wags 'n Whiskers range . The DT girls have all used one of Nikki's newly released stamps. They are all gorgeous and so different. If you would like to see them and maybe inspired to have a go at the ASOS challenge you can find all the details here on the blog.

This will be our last challenge now until the New Year so I will here with a new ASOS challenge on the 6th January.

Cute Card Thursday meets The Sugar Bowl

Cute Card Thursday's challenge this week is

Sew Beady

This week we want to see your cards/projects that include beads somewhere...wherever your like...loads or just a few.

Here is my take on the challenge
I have used this week's Sugar Bowl Challenge sketch and included my fav colour, which is the peach.

I have used a new stamp from Funky Kits called Isla. She's been coloured with promarkers. The papers are from Chatterbox and are from the Garden range. I have stitched around the edges. The butterflies are made with a Martha Stewart punch. I have added 3 little beads down their centres and then I threaded 2 more little beads onto illusion thread and did some loops too. I then adhered them to the back of the butterflies to make them look like a kind of trail. Everything else is from my stash.
Here's a close up.

The DT girls have made some gorgeous cards again for this beady challenge. You can see them and all the details for the challenge here on the CCT blog.
We are sponsored this week by Simon Says Stamp and they are offering up a $25 credit voucher.
I would also like to put this card in for the Sugar Bowl Challenge.

Inky Impressions Challenge #25

Wednesday again, phew whizzing by!! And it's time for the Inky Impressions Challenge. This week's challenge is

Add Snowflakes

here is my card

I have used one of the gorgeous new winter images from Inky Impressions called Angelica's sled.I have also used Angelica's pretty gifts to go on the sled. I have coloured them with promarkers and some diamond stickles. Here is a close up

The papers are by Chatterbox and I've sewn around the edges. The snowflakes have been punched out and then I used SU heat and stick and glitter to bling them up. The "joyous" is a bottle cap from a digi kit.I printed it out, cut it out and then I used the cracked glass effect. That is smeared it with versamark and then covered it with UTEE and heated it up. I did this bit three times and then popped it into the freezer. A little later I took it out and bent it in several places to make it "crack".The flowers are a mixure of bead caps and punched shapes.

So this is the first challenge that has been done with the new Design Team and they have made some really gorgeous projects. It's well worth going over to take a look, they are stunning.
You can find all the projects and details of the challenge on the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog. The challenge will be going for two weeks and I'd love to see your snowflake creations.

Forgot to tell you in my last post, Nikki is having a blog hop for the Wags 'n Whiskers new releases. All the details are here.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar and Friday Sketchers

A Spoon Full Of Sugar's theme for this week is

Monochrome (not just black and white)

Here is my card

I've used one of the new stamps from Sugar Nellie, the Sugar and Spice range. This one is called Raven.I have coloured her with promarkers and used a nesty to cut the circle around her. The scallop circle layer was made with my Cricut. The other circle was made in the exact same way and the sentiment is from Whiff of Joy. The papers are all from the Cottage range from Chatterbox. The sketch is from this week's challenge on Friday Sketchers so I'm putting this card in for the two challenges. It's a great sketch to work with and was ideal for the monochromatic theme.
Here's a close up of the image.

This week's prize is a Greeting Farm stamp set called "Sweet Message" and has kindly been donated by non other than our very own Nikki from Bunny Zoe's Crafts.

The DT girls have done some beautiful cards this week, all so very different but gorgeous. You can see them all on the ASOS blog.

Cute Card Thursday

The Cute Card Thursday theme this week is

Swirly Girly

This week we want to see your cards/projects that are girls. They can include anything that is particularly girly...for example your image, colour combo, flowers. ribbon, bling and even swirls....the more girly the better.

As our sponsor is Nutcrackers this week I have used one of their sweet angel digi images.
(don't look too closely, I was hurrying to get a pic and the silicon glue hadn't dried on the flower yet).

So the image is from Nutcracker, I have coloured her with promarkers and her wings have been blinged with diamond stickles. The papers are Chatterbox and I have layered them onto one of the darker red papers. Everything else is from my stash.
Here is a close up of the image.

This week's prize is from Nutcrafters and Kate is offering 2 stamps and a set of digi downloads, which includes the one I have used.
The DT girls have made some fantastic girly swirly cards including Avril who is our GD for the next two weeks. All the cards and details can be seen over on the CCT blog.

I have run several strips through my Martha stewart punch for the decorated strip. Everything else is from my stash including the roses which have had a little bit of diamond stickle added to their edges.

Here's a close up of the image.

I also got to choose the Guest Designer this week and I chose my fellow Inky Impression DT member Crystal. Thanks Crystal!! She made a gorgeous card and you can see it on the ASOS blog.

Inky Impressions DT Call

The time has come around for Nicole to pick the next term's Design Team. I have had a great time being on the team, so much so that I am applying again. For the DT call we had to follow the latest challenge and that was to make an ornament.

Here is my ornament (please click on the picture for a better view)

I saw this clear teardrop in a German shop and thought ahhhh!! So that is what I have used as the base. I first stamped out Ice Skating Rachel and coloured her with promarkers and lots of diamond stickles. I then cut around her leaving a small margin. Here she is close up.

For the background I used Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper. I cut around the teardrop and then adhered it to the middle of the teardrop. You can't really see the base properly in the pic but I tore some light blue paper and then smeared some diamond stickles over it to make it look snowy. I glued the torn strips all along the base. Was having some trouble at this point!!! I then put a little diamond glaze onto the tips of Rachel's skates to make her stand up onto the "snow". Using the same papers I punched out some snowflakes and glittered them up and added a flat back pearl to each of the middles. I then stuck them to the outside of the teardrop. Next came the green ribbon and little xmas tree charm.
I really would like to continue on the Inky Impressions design team, the girls are a fabulous team and of course the stamps are gorgeous!!!

If you would like to have a go at being on the team all the details are on the Inky Impressions Challenge blog right here.

Good luck!!!

Good luck!!

Cute card Thursday

The theme for this week on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge blog is

Teen Terrors

Here is my card.

I have used a Mo's Digital Pencil image called "Video Boy". He has been coloured with promarkers and I used a nestalilitie label for the background.

I have used Prima dude papers for this card and layered it all onto a burgundy bazill. The sentiment has been made with my Cricut. I've said that I must use my Cricut more, it just sits there doing nothing and for such an expensive buy it should be used!! The buttons are from my stash.

We have a new guest designer this week and that is Lorraine from Lorraine's Loft. She has made a great card for a teenage boy.

We are sponsored this week by Whimsy Stamps , they are offering a really cute Xmas stamp with kittens.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar

Tuesday again!!! Wow time really is flying now.
This week's theme for the A Spoon Full Of Sugar challenge is

And here is my card.

I have used Jolly by Golly papers for this card, I love these and some are just right for this challenge. I have layered them up and backed them onto one of the red songsheet papers. The image is from an old CC Designs set. I stamped out the image and coloured it with promarkers and some diamond stickles.

I then cut it out with a spellbinder peony die. The snowflakes have been made with a punch, I punched out two of each in different papers and went around the edges with a clear star pen. Everything else is from my stash.

This week we are sponsored by our very own Nikki from Bunny Zoe's Crafts. Nikki is offering a new Greeting card stamp called Flapper Anya. Pic is on the blog.

The flowers are from my stash but I added some diamond stickles for the sparkle around the edges. Everything else is from my stash.
