Cute Card Thursday

This week's challenge is

Midnight Margaritas

This week we want to see your cards/projects featuring a drinks/cocktail theme.

Here's my card

I have used a House Mouse and coloured the image with promarkers. I have used a sketch by Marlene, which was the SOL sketch. The papers are from My Minds Eye. The decorative strip of paper has been punched with a Martha Stewart punch. I couldn't find a flower to match so I made the flower out of 3 blooms and coloured them with a peach ink.

This week we are sponsored by "say it with stamps by Jen". Jen is offering a $10 gift voucher to spend in her shop.

The other DT girls have mades some fantastic cards again this week. You can see them and get all the details on how to join in with the challenge here on the Cute Card Thursday challenge blog.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge

Well sad to say this will be my last post from Tilda & Friends. We have decided to end the challenge as we had more DT members than participants. There are so many new challenges out there.
So onto the theme for this week and it is

Fall Back

Here is my ATC

I used distress inks to make the background and I tore a scrap piece of card to lay down the left hand side. I then stamped it with a SU roller stamp.
The fairy is by CC Designs and I coloured her with promarkers and some gold stickles for her wings.
I couldn't find the right colour flower so I used a white one and coloured it with green ink. The sentiment is made with a tape machine.

To see the very last ATCs made by the DT pop over to the blog, you can find it here.

Mo's Challenge #3

I can't resist doing Mo's Challenges so many gorgeous images to choose from. This week the challenge was for anything but a card. So I have made a CD holder. I got the idea from a tutorial by Maria Bell on SCS.
Here it is

I've used a fairly new image called Patience and blimey that cat has plenty!!! I've coloured the image with promarkers and cut out the shapes with a label nestie.
The papers are Paper Trunk the Maybe Baby range.I punched the flowers using 2 different sized punches and added a little spacer to the middles.

You can find Mo's challenge here.

Cute Card Thursday

Well today's challenge on the Cute Card Thursday blog is

Candy Corns

This week we want to see your sweet/candy themed cards or projects.... These needn't be Halloween based, they can be whatever sweet/candy you like.

I just couldn't find any papers or images that had sweets on (probably do have some but can't find it!) so I made a sweet treat box.

Okay so I made the box out of white card and then layered the sides with a cream bazill cs and then with Cosmo Cricket Early Bird. The yummy sticker and the Just For You are also from Cosmo Cricket.
The image is from Inky Impressions and is called "LiLi's Secret". I just used her face for this one. But I used this image because it looks like she is saying "sh don't tell anyone but there are sweets inside!!" She has been coloured with promarkers and cut out with a circle nestabilitie. The flowers I have made with punches and just added a little pearl to the centres. The sweets inside are dried Guava. My eldest son's favourite!

We are sponsored this week by Create with Inktegrity and Joni has kindly donated a $15 gift voucher.

Inky Impressions Challenge # 20

Challenge # 20 today on the Inky Impressions challenge blog and it's a sketch by Crystal.

It was a great sketch to work with, just right for what I had in mind for my new stamp.

I've used a new stamp from Inky Impressions called "Fairy Lili". Isn't she just gorgeous, it is my fav image , well so far! She has been coloured with promarkers and I coloured her wings with diamond stickles. I also added some clear star pen for a bit of sparkle.

The sentiment is also from Inky Impressions. Nicole has lots of lovely new sentiments, really fun and original sayings too. You can find them here. The papers are from Paper Trunk and are called Maybe Baby. I have stitched around the papers with a pink thread in a zig zag stitch. Everything else is from my stash.

The other DT girls have made some gorgeous cards, really worth a look. We'd love you to join in with the challenge to see what you are creating with your Inky Impression stamps. You can find the challenge blog here.

I also just wanted to let you know that Inky Impressions have a yahoo group too. For all members of the group, Nicole has kindly given a 10% discount off your Inky Impressions stamps. So well worth joining up I think.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge

We are sponsored this week by Elizabeth from Soft Pencil Digital stamps. So we worked with one of her images. I chose My Bunny and Me. Here is my card

I've coloured the image with promarkers and used a nestabilitie to frame the image. The papers are all from My mind's eye. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts clear stamp set. Ribbons and pearls are from my stash.

Last minute card

The kids have a party to go to tomorrow and I couldn't find a nice birthday card so I made this one.

I have used an image for a set by Mo's Digital Pencil called "Superkid". A great set for boy's cards as it has four images to choose from. I coloured him the usual way with promarkers. The papers are from a DCWV pad called Summer Stack. For the layout I used one of Tiets sketches. Love her sketches so many layers.

Mo's Challenge #2

This week's Mo's Digital Challenge is all about Fall colours, you don't have to use a Fall image just as long as you use Fall colours. Oh and you can only use 2 embellies.
I've had these images for a while now and decided now was the time to use one of them. I had to have them as you may know that hubby is in the army and my son is always saying to me "How many days is it until Daddy comes home?" He misses him so much. So the images are ideal for me to use.
Here is my card

This image comes from a set called "Time out to support the troops" I made a few adjustments to the image to suit my needs. I coloured him in with promarkers. All the papers are from Cosmo Cricket. My 2 embellies are the 2 buttons.

Sorry I still can't find a place in the house where the light is right for taking pics. I'll keep trying! The colours on this card look very dark compared to real life.

Inky Impressions Sneek Peeks

Today I also want to show you two sneek peeks of brand new Inky Impressions stamps coming out. Just right for those cute Christmas cards. We will be showing off the new stamps real soon in a blog hop but for now you'll have to make do with these.

I will update you very soon.

Cute Card Thursday

This week's Cute Card Thursday theme is

Spook Fest

Here's my not so scary card!

I have used another of Mo's images this one is called "Punkin" available from Mo's shop, Digital Pencil Too. He's been coloured with promarkers and I've used a nestabilite label to frame him. The papers and sentiment are all a digi kit called Merry Boo by Hollie Wood. Everything else is from my stash.

The prize this week is a sheet of angel stamps kindly donated by Tracy of Dies to Die for. One lucky winner will be chosen next week.

As always the DT have done a fab job of the challenge. So many different designs and gorgeous cards. You can see them all here.

We also have a Guest designer too and that is Lisa, she has made a great monster card.

Marlene's SOL

I just caught this in time on Marlene's blog , she had a SOL last night at 8pm. You can see all the fun here on her blog, A Lil Bit Of Me.
The idea was that Marlene had shown a post with the measurements of the papers and card you would need and then at 8pm she would give out instructions on how to make your card at five minute intervals. I managed to do it right and got my card made but I couldn't take a photo until now as it was dark when I'd finished. So here is my card.

Please click on the pic to get a better view. :0)

I used My mind's eye papers and the punched paper has been done with a Martha Stewart punch. All the embellies are from my stash. I used silver flower spacers with a flat backed pearl for the centres.

Don't forget to go over to Marlene's blog to see all the different variations of cards. You can see them on this post here.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge

(Ooops forgot to say the theme is Paper Piecing) and that I paper pieced his clothes and boots.

Morning and today is the Tilda & Friends ATC challenge day, but with some sad news. This will be one of the last ATCs I make for the challenge as we have all decided that the challenge will be closing at the end of October. There are so many challenge sites now and T&F participation has dropped considerably. So here is my ATC for this week

I have used a Sugar Nellie manga image for this ATC from Funky Kits. He is called Mr Stocking. Isn't he cute? I've coloured him with promarkers and cut him out. The papers and ribbon are from scraps left over from a Sara's cardmaking kit. The stocking is from a German shop.

The other DT have made some lovely ATCs all using different images, why not pop over for a look? You can find them here.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar

This week's theme on the A Spoon Full Of Sugar challenge blog is a gorgeous sketch by Caryn.
Here is a pic of the sketch

And here is my card

As Mo sponsored us this week we get to play with an image from her shop so I have used one of many gorgeous images from Mo's Digital Pencil, it's called Kai in the snow. Just sooo cute! I have coloured him with my promarkers and added a little clear star pen for the snow. I used a label nestabilitie for the frame in two sizes. The papers are Eskimo kisses from Basic Grey. The stamp I have had for ages but have only just found it again, not too sure who makes it though. Everything else is from my stash.

So the prize this week is a $20 gift certificate to spend in Mo's shop, blimey how would I choose out of all those gorgeous images if I could win?? Pop on over to the ASOS blog for all the details and enjoy the gorgeous DT cards.

And here is my card following the sketch. I have turned it 90 degrees.

If you click on the pic you can see the card much clearer.
I bought my daughter some of the Daisy and Dandelion style stamps and couldn't resisit "borrowing" one. This image is from the Bubbles and Squeak sheet. I have coloured him with promarkers and I've stamped out the flower from the papers I used. The papers are from Cosmo Cricket, and are from the Early Bird range. The sentiment is from a SU up set which I have stamped onto a scallop circle which I made with my Cricut. The silver flower spacers and pearls are from my stash.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

There is a great sketch for the Papertake Weekly Challenge this week so I decided to have a go. Here is my card.

I've used one of my gorgeous Inky Impression images called "Fairy Lili". She has been coloured with promarkers and I have used diamond stickles for her wings. The papers are from a SU simply scrappin kit from last year and it's called "I wish". I made the blooms from using 3 different sized flower punches and then adding a silver spacer to the middle.

Still can't get a good photo this one was taken in the bathroom in front of the mirror I thought it would lighten it up a bit, but seems it didn't work!

If you click on the photo you get a clearer view.

Cute Card Thursday

The theme for this week's Cute Card Thursday challenge is

So Charming - Use a charm on your project

Here is my card

I have used one of my new Sugar Nellie Manga stamps called "Mistletoe" and it has been coloured with promarkers. The papers are from Cosmo Cricket and are called Jolly by Golly. Everything else is from my stash.
