Cute card Thursday

This week the theme for the Cute Card Thursday challenge is

Snips, Snails and Puppy Dog Tails.

We'd like to see a card made for a younger boy.

And here is my card

I have used a Mo's Digital Pencil image called Bye-Bye Boy.He's been coloured in with promarkers and cut out. The papers which are Prima Dude have been layered onto burgundy bazill and then I've stitched around the edges. For the embellies I used some chipboard letters which I inked up. I then just added the 3 buttons.

Here's a close up of the image

The other DT girls have made some really gorgeous cards as well as our guest designer, Lorraine from Lorraine's loft.

We also have a fab prize for one lucky winner from Bryony at Silly Monkey Crafts.

Hope to see your creations on the blog. You can find all the details on the CCT blog here.

Inky Impressions DT Call

The time has come around for Nicole to pick the next term's Design Team. I have had a great time being on the team, so much so that I am applying again. For the DT call we had to follow the latest challenge and that was to make an ornament.

Here is my ornament (please click on the picture for a better view)

I saw this clear teardrop in a German shop and thought ahhhh!! So that is what I have used as the base. I first stamped out Ice Skating Rachel and coloured her with promarkers and lots of diamond stickles. I then cut around her leaving a small margin. Here she is close up.

For the background I used Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper. I cut around the teardrop and then adhered it to the middle of the teardrop. You can't really see the base properly in the pic but I tore some light blue paper and then smeared some diamond stickles over it to make it look snowy. I glued the torn strips all along the base. Was having some trouble at this point!!! I then put a little diamond glaze onto the tips of Rachel's skates to make her stand up onto the "snow". Using the same papers I punched out some snowflakes and glittered them up and added a flat back pearl to each of the middles. I then stuck them to the outside of the teardrop. Next came the green ribbon and little xmas tree charm.
I really would like to continue on the Inky Impressions design team, the girls are a fabulous team and of course the stamps are gorgeous!!!

If you would like to have a go at being on the team all the details are on the Inky Impressions Challenge blog right here.

Good luck!!!

Cute card Thursday

The theme for this week on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge blog is

Teen Terrors

Here is my card.

I have used a Mo's Digital Pencil image called "Video Boy". He has been coloured with promarkers and I used a nestalilitie label for the background.

I have used Prima dude papers for this card and layered it all onto a burgundy bazill. The sentiment has been made with my Cricut. I've said that I must use my Cricut more, it just sits there doing nothing and for such an expensive buy it should be used!! The buttons are from my stash.

We have a new guest designer this week and that is Lorraine from Lorraine's Loft. She has made a great card for a teenage boy.

We are sponsored this week by Whimsy Stamps , they are offering a really cute Xmas stamp with kittens.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar

Tuesday again!!! Wow time really is flying now.
This week's theme for the A Spoon Full Of Sugar challenge is

Baby's First Christmas / Pre-Schooler

And here is my card.

I have used Jolly by Golly papers for this card, I love these and some are just right for this challenge. I have layered them up and backed them onto one of the red songsheet papers. The image is from an old CC Designs set. I stamped out the image and coloured it with promarkers and some diamond stickles.

I then cut it out with a spellbinder peony die. The snowflakes have been made with a punch, I punched out two of each in different papers and went around the edges with a clear star pen. Everything else is from my stash.

This week we are sponsored by our very own Nikki from Bunny Zoe's Crafts. Nikki is offering a new Greeting card stamp called Flapper Anya. Pic is on the blog.

The DT girls have made some adorable cards for the little un's christmas. You can see them on the ASOS blog here.

Cute card Thursday

Late with my post today sorry, had to take a trip to see my rheumatologist and it's an hour away.
Onto the challenge, the challenge this week for the Cute Card Thursday challenge is

Glitter me silly

This week we want to see your cards/projects that sparkle with all things glittery.....make them shine.

Here is my card

I have used an Alota stamp and coloured it with promarkers and sakura clear star pen. I also added some diamond stickles. The papers are from a few years ago and I think they are Paper Adventures. The decorative strip is made from a Martha Stewart punch. All the edges have been inked with versamark and then I dusted them with some transference red perfect pearls for added sparkle. I made the flower with a spellbinder die from vellum. I did the same with the flower edges as I did with the paper edges, then added a silver spacer and a red pearl. The sentiment is a £1 stamp.

In true photo style you can't see all the sparkle and glimmer but believe me there is plenty!!
Our sponsor this week is Simon says stamp and the prize is a $25 credit voucher!!
And our guest designer is Jenn

A Spoon Full Of Sugar

The theme for this week was chosen by Michelle for the A Spoon Full Of Sugar challenge blog and it is

Make a Scene

Here is my card

I have used a brand new image from Inky Impressions called Lili's cleaning day. Isn't she cute? She has been coloured in with promarkers and at last I've found a white pen that actually works!!
The papers are from Cosmo Cricket. I stamped the Alota sofa onto one of the papers and cut it out. Can you see the "mess" by the hoover, I did that by glueing a little bit of flower soft to the papers. The flower is a spellbinder die called flower creations and they are also made with the same Cosmo cricket papers and some bazill cs. I added a silver spacer and into the middle I put one of the new blue inky dinky drops. I then inked around the edges of the flower with some red chalk ink. The sentiment is also from Inky Impressions. It is in one line but I stamped it out and then cut it into the individual words and then layered it onto more paper, then inked the edges again. Just to finish off I added two pearl heart gems.

Our sponsor this week is Summer from Belles n Whistles. Summer has donated an Elisabeth Bell stamp called Rockin Around. Pic on the ASOS blog.

We also have a Guest Designer this week and that is Kittie, she has made a gorgeous winter scend card.

The DT girls have again made some beautiful scene cards, go take a peek and hopefully you'll be inspired to make a scene card too. You can find the ASOS blog here.

Nicole is now going to stock these lovely little embellies in lots of lovely colours.

Cute card Thursday

Way behind today!! Okay so I'm not at all happy with this card but hey I guess you have to show the good and bad.
So the challenge was to use

Primary Colours

Firstly I couldn't find any primary coloured papers so I had to print some off and then I didn't print the right size so I had to do a bit of tearing.

I used a Mo Manning image called "Superkid" this is just one of four images in the set. These are great for little boy cards. I have coloured him with promarkers.
I covered two chipboard corners in the same papers and also punched out the shapes and added buttons to the centres of each.

The other DT ladies have made a much better job than me of the challenge. You can find all their gorgeous work here on the Cute Card Thursday blog.

This week we are sponsored by Kraftin' Kimmie and she is offering 3 of her brand new stamps, so well worth entering!

Please don't forget the Inky Dinky Drop Hop tomorrow where I'll be showing you some of the new Winter releases from Inky Impressions and there is a prize at the end of the hop.

Inky Impressions Challenge

This week's challenge on the Inky Impressions Challenge blog is a colour challenge.

or something similar to these.

Here is my card. Apologies again for the poor colour quality, I have fiddled around with Photoshop and still can't get it to show the true colours. It seems to always be dark and raining here at the moment, so the camera doesn't get a good shot.

I have of course used a gorgeous image from Inky Impressions which is called "Angelica's Bunny Hugs". What a cutie!! She has been coloured with promarkers.

All the papers are from Stampin Up. I made the flower myself with 3 Woodware embossing punches. I didn't realise just how big these punches were, so a bit disappointed with them. I added a silver spacer to the middle and a pin with some beads attached to it. The lovely chocolate ribbon was a gift from Nicole, (Inky's mama). And see the little dots well you'll be finding out about them real soon. The decorated strip was made with a Martha Stewart punch.

The other DT girls have made some beautiful cards using the colours and each of us have managed to use a different Inky Impressions image. You can see all the cards here.

Don't forget to come back on Friday to see some of the brand new Winter images. We are having a blog hop!!

A Spoon Full Of Sugar

Another Tuesday has come around again, the weeks are flying!! This week's A Spoon Full Of Sugar challenge is a sketch by Sonja.

And here is my card

I've used an older Magnolia stamp of Edwin sweeping his leaves. I have coloured him with promarkers. The papers are from Pink Paislee Amber Road collection. These and the embellies all came in October's Sarah's scrapbooking kit. I made the flower using the same papers and adding a button to the middle with some orange thread. The chipboard letters have been sponged with green and brown distress inks.

We are sponsored this week by Bryony from Silly Monkey Crafts and she is offering one of the new Kraftin' Kimmie stamps - Moonlight whispers.
