Cute Card Thursday

Sorry bit late putting my card up but things are manic here. Relatives come to stay (which makes 9 people living in one house) and a new puppy!

Ok so this week for the Cute Card Thursday challenge blog we were to follow the fabulous sketch by Katharina. Who does some stunning work you should check out her amazing blog.

Stamp:- Hanglar

As usual there are some stunning examples from the DT over on the blog. Why not go and get some inspiration and take part? You can find all the details here

Four more cards

Four more birthday cards arrived today. All stunning and lovely! Thank you so much to the girls who sent them.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge

And this week's theme is...
Glorious Green

Here we are again with glorious sunshine in the UK and the countryside
Glorious Green! So that's our theme for this week's ATCs and the
Design Team have come up with some beautiful ATCs for your inspiration.

For my ATC this week I started by colouring the blank ATC to make grass and the sky with chalk inks. I cut out some cloud images and used them as a stencil to ink around. Tilda's dress , trousers and boots were paper pieced and all the other images were coloured in with prismas and zest it. Her wings and the flowers were given a little bit of diamond stickles to make them sparkle. Stamps:- Magnolia

To get all the details of this week's challenge and see all the lovely DT work you can go here

Looking forward to seeing your "Glorious Green" ATCs. :0)

Two more gorgeous birthday cards arrived today.

This one is from Deb, thank you Deb it's really pretty.

This one is from Jo, thank you Jo I love the colours and the little pearly buttons.

Tilda & Co Challenge

Time for challenge # 19 this week and it's..

Black & White

It's time for a bit of black and white theme, ideally no other colours to be
used on you work.
(but if you are struggling with this then your magnolia
image ( or 1 of if using more than 1 )may have 1 more colour of your choice.

For this week's challenge I have done a set of 3 ATCs. I used mostly black and white but used flesh for their faces and hands. All the papers used are just little pieces I had left over in my stash box.

You can see all the other DT work on the blog and find details of how to join in. The Tilda & Co blog is here

Happy Birthday Elliott

Today is my son's 15th birthday. I can still remember the 8lb 6oz bundle!!!!

Happy Birthday Elliott!!! :0)

He had a bit of an accident yesterday as well. He was jumping over a wall and got his foot caught and ended up with a deep gouge in his leg, so he had the added bonus of not going to school today. He hobbled around instead and played his new PS3 game. Great birthday according to him!!

Sunday, 11 May 2008

Yesterday we went for a visit to see Milly Molly. She has grown already and is much fluffier! We stayed and had a play with her in the breeder's garden. She lives in some stunning countryside with a big house and garden. Milly was jumping all over us and licking everyone.

Here's Robbyn and Milly. Milly was running after Robbyn everywhere.

Here's Tyrrell getting a kiss!

Here's Milly walking away after trying to devour some plants.

Two more!

Two more birthday cards to show today.

Unfortunately the button on Katharina's card got halved, over zealous postman I think!! How pretty are they both, gorgeous. Katharina also sent me some High Hopes images too, I can't wait to use them. It won't be today though as we are out all day for my birthday. Thank you very much girls. :0)

Another Birthday Card

This popped through my letter box today, isn't it lovely? I have never seen this shape of card before but it's gorgeous!! The lovely Monika from here in Germany sent it to me, many thanks Monika it is fab!!! :0)

This is how it arrived in the envelope, flat packed.

And when I pulled the flap down this is how it looks. Brill isn't it?

Cute Card Thursday

Another Thursday, another challenge!! So this week's CCT challenge is

Gems & Jewels

This week our challenge is to use gems or jewels on your card, it's as easy
as that!

All the papers and embellies I've used on this card are from a GoGo Greetings kit and they are made by Making Memories 5th Avenue. (yay I remembered!) The little fairy is from Stamping Bella and was very kindly gave to me by Fran. Thanks Fran ;0) So I coloured her in with prismas and zest it but used diamond stickles to colour in her wings. I added little blue gems to the flower stamens and her shoes and headband. Zoomz (don't forget this week's prize is for lots of these lovely embellies) were added to the corners of the card. For the blooms I added a button to the middle by sewing it on with some metallic thread.

Stamps:- Bella

Papers:- Making memories 5th Avenue

I have to tell you there is some outstanding work from the DT , you must go and take a look. Then you can join in, what girl doesn't like gems and jewels?? ;0) You can find all the details here
