This post will stay at the top until Saturday, when the blog hop ends. Please scroll down to see new posts. Thank you. :0)Well the day of the grand opening and blog hop is here! I know you are going to love the brand new stamps, very cute. The quality of these stamps are brilliant, very deeply etched and made from red rubber. After having a play with them I got a crisp, clean image every time.
Nicole (Inky's Mama, the boss) is starting this grand opening on her blog with the blog hop.So you need to go right back to the beginning to Nicole's blog. You will then have to "hop" onto the next Inspirational Inkette's (the Design Teams collective name)blog. If you follow the blog hop all the way to the end you have a chance to win some gorgeous blog candy!! Which is.....
1 Inky Impressions stamp
Prima flowers
American Craft flowers
and an array of embellishments.
To show you some inspiration for these gorgeous stamps each of the Inspirational Inkettes has made two projects. Nicole has designed these stamps and named them after her two little girls.
My first project is an acetate candy box. Here is a front view.
And here is a side view.
The image is of course an Inky Impression stamp and is called
"LiLi's chicks". I have taken out the chicks and made it look as though she is pointing at the sentiment. This is an Easter stamp but you can see how versatile you can make it. She has been coloured with promarkers and copics. I used a SU scrapbooking set for the lids and embellies. As you can see I made the box with a sheet of acetate. The decorative border was made with a Martha Stewart punch.
My second project is an acetate card.
I made a card this time with a sheet of acetate and stamped the background with a pearly white ink. I then cut out a frame with my Cricut using Accent Essentials. This image is an Inky Impressions stamp called
"Angelica's Heart Socks". She has again been coloured with promarkers and copics. I have used a sakura soufle pen to colour her hairband and shoe laces. I have also used a sakura clear star pen and a glaze pen on all the little hearts. I used some blooms and punched out some flowers from acetate to put in the middles. I then added the brads. To finish off I added two entwined ribbons and a silver charm.
Ok so now you need to go over to the next Inspirational Inkettes blog to see the gorgeous inspiration she has for you! And the next one is....Sem over on her blog ,
Semsee's Sparkly Scribblings.
