Tilda & Co challenge blog

Another Sunday and this week on the Tilda & Co Challenge Blog it's challenge # 38 and it's a sketch.

Here is the sketch

And here is my Autumnal card. I turned my sketch around to do this card.

I've used Basic Grey papers for this one. On the first layer I used a plain mustard coloured piece of BG and stitched around it with burgundy thread. I then layered onto it a patterned BG paper. Using plain BG I made two ovals with my cricut and then two strips with a word window punch. I added a brad to each of the strips. The tab was cut out using my wizard and then I embossed over it with a cuttlebug embossing folder. I then went over it with sandpaper to make the embossing stand out. Next I coloured in the Magnolia image with promarkers but then I cut out some more of the stamped flowers to make it 3D. I then adhered her to the ovals. Then finally I added the burgundy ribbon and the blooms and leaves. I think it is very Autumnal looking don't you?

Stamp:- Magnolia

Papers:- Basic Grey - Perhaps

Blooms & leaves:- Prima

Strips:- SU word window punch

Ovals:- Cricut cartridge-Plantin Schoolbook

If you would like to join in with this week's sketch challenge the details are all on the blog here
